Lefty the Laser is getting an upgrade!

This has been a LONG time coming. Lefty was old when I started using him, and is only older now. He’s failing to cut through one layer of cork on a single pass anymore, which he was doing so well just 1 year ago.

The Space is hoping to secure a grant for the purchase (to the tune of $17,000) and is hoping that community engagement will show the organization and the board that the need is both dire and desired. They’re asking for $10 minimum; only members of the space can donate so I’m funneling in the donations 1:1, and eating the processing fees myself.. Lefty has been integral to this small business and has allowed new products and faster, more precise processing to occur in my chain of production, so if you’re able and willing, please donate! Otherwise, your excitement matching my own is appreciation enough.

All donations taken here will be funneled into the Makerspace's fundraiser 1:1. D2K9 will eat the processing fees for any credit cards used. Please do not donate below $10 though, as that's the bare minimum the Space will accept.
